Noah Battaglia
Graduate Student
Noah is a first year PhD student in the Developmental Psychology program at Wilfrid Laurier University. He joined the MAP Lab after completing a BA in Psychology at Laurier. His research interests include moral development and children’s understanding of lie-telling.

Jacqueline Di Biase
Graduate Student
Jacqueline is a second-year graduate student in the Developmental Psychology Master’s program at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is returning to the MAP Lab after completing an Honours bachelor's degree at Laurier. Her research interests focus on early childhood development, with a particular emphasis on prosocial behaviours and moral development in children.

Isha Dhode
Graduate Student
Isha graduated from the psychology program at the University of Waterloo in 2024. After volunteering at the MAP Lab for the 2024-25 semesters, she decided to pursue graduate studies in the lab. Her research interests include the role of social agents in children’s emotional development and the intersecting components that predict prosocial and antisocial behaviours in childhood.

Lia Barbaro
Honours Thesis Student
Lia is entering her fourth year of her undergraduate degree, majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience, with plans to pursue a master's degree in clinical psychology. She is beginning her undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Dr. Jambon. She is particularly interested in topics such as Machiavellian behaviour and deception in both children and adults.

Renata Ruiz
Honours Thesis Student
Renata is a fifth-year undergraduate student completing her honours thesis with Dr. Jambon. She is focusing on the understanding of children's lie telling. She plans on pursuing her masters in clinical psychology and working with children after graduating in 2026.

Marley Wheeler
Directed Studies Student
Marley is in her fourth year of her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University. She has meaningful experience working with children through sports programs, camps, and preschools. Marley is particularly interested in the development of lying and aspects of moral development in early and middle childhood.
